We are holding a year–long, three-part exhibition on the 18 stories
from the full-length Doraemon series: from Nobita’s Dinosaur,to
Nobita’sAdventures in Clockwork City.

One of Japan’s most iconic manga artists and creator of Doraemon and many other famous works over the years, Fujiko・F・Fujio spent his early childhood and youth right here in Takaoka. At our art gallery, visitors can learn about those hometown elements of Takaoka that inspired Fujiko・F・Fujio to dream about becoming a manga artist someday and take delight in the first principles and wonderful works of manga created by him through a vast collection of original pictures.
